“AHHH! My bitch is back!” Fiona exclaims while pulling me into a bear hug. I haven’t seen her in months and the last time I had seen her was when she had flown to San Francisco to see me. I’ve been home for a week and this has been a hard ass week.

First, I gotta see Romario’s bougie ass girlfriend prance around the house like she’s the shit. Then I had to go see Romario’s mother and she was not happy to see my ass. I was expecting that. I did get to see Stink and China. I missed my babies. No matter how old they get, they will always be my babies.

I really missed my girl. I start laughing. “I missed you too girl,” I tell her. She quickly ushers me into her house and I take a seat on her loveseat. I must say, my girl is doing good as a RN.

“So, you know I want the damn tea girl.” She brings out two glasses of wine. I roll my eyes and give her a knowing smile.

“Of course you do,” I tell her. So, I begin to tell her everything that went down when Romario found me She laughed at the part when he choked my ass out.

“That damn Romario is crazy as hell!” She lets out a hearty laugh.

“Well damn, I’m glad me almost dying is making you crack the fuck up,” I tell her with an attitude.

“Oh girl, please, you know your ass was turned on by that,” she busts me out. I can feel myself blushing. Shit, in a weird way, I was but I ain’t gonna let her crazy ass know that.

“I was not! He was finna kill my ass!” I deny her allegation.

“So, what is next for ya’ll?” she asks.

I can feel tears in my eyes. “I don’t know He will never forgive me for this Fiona. I broke that man’s heart,” I tell her.

“Yea, you did fuck up bad but he was fucking up too. You had to do what you had to do for your daughter.”

“I know. I’m still in love with him and it’s hard to see him with his new girlfriend,” I confess, taking a deep gulp of my wine.

“Are you trying to get him back?” she asks me, pouring me another glass.

“I can’t steal him from his girlfriend That’s not good,” I tell her.

“Shit, he was yours first, hell!” Fiona bust out.

“Girl Romario ain’t got his ass on me. He hates my ass.”

“Romario loves yo ass. If he truly hated you, then he would have killed your ass as soon as he saw you. He just hurt right now.”

Fiona reaches over to grab my hand “Maybe you’re right. It still ain’t right to try to break up his relationship though.” If I tried to break up Romario and Veronica, then I would be no better than the women that use to try to destroy Romario’s and I relationship.
